I have 15 years of experience in the romance industry and absolutely love what I do. My life purpose is to educate and entertain as many as possible.
I have many titles and roles I play in the world, from a Sex Ed Comedian to a sexologist, Sexucator, a Love Coach, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a life partner, and most recently, a crazy craft lady who hangs out at Michael’s. Once menopause sets in, you really need a craft hobby of some sort to be a healthy avenue for you to focus your frustrations… scissors, glue guns, rope… You can be a little dangerous at that point, so crafting will keep you from biting folks.
When I was introduced to the Party Plan world in 2004, I knew nothing about the human body, sexuality or women’s wellness. I hated public speaking. In a way that was much different than the average person who hates public speaking. All through my education, I was the kid in the back row, who distracted EVERYONE by telling jokes and entertaining others, however, the second I was asked to go to the front of the class to speak, I’d refuse. I would rather take my clothes off and have a nightmare.
The sex education drew me in like a drug; the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. I was a college student finishing my Master’s degree, I was a single mother of an 11-year-old, I had a full-time job complete with 60 hour weeks working for the government and 2 part time data entry jobs I did from home. We were still living paycheck to paycheck.
Stumbling across this business was the best thing that ever happened in my life. It made me a better friend, sister, mother, educator, daughter and wife. Having a social anxiety and deep seeded fear of being in unfamiliar territory or meeting new people, has made my career that much more rewarding. Learning that sexual education is one of the most glossed over, taboo subjects of our culture, made me work harder to meet new people, do more parties and get a deeper reach into the world to educate the masses. Being a naturally funny, sarcastic and witty person, that armed me to learn to deliver education in a comedic manner. Laughter is one of the greatest gifts to learning. As a previous college professor, I knew that if I could get the class laughing, they would learn secondary and take the stress out of education. The same is true with adult sex ed.
In addition to my “professional titles”, I also have the most perfect wife on the planet; she’s truly the best person I’ve ever met. Why she stays, is beyond me. I even leave the door unlocked at night sometimes so she could escape, but she never does. Or hasn’t yet!
I have four children: Caleb, the human, who is now 25 and is a key factor in the success of my business. He was the cutest 11 year old entrepreneur with his Thomas the Train backpack full of flyers advertising my business as he put one on every door in our neighborhood. And our 3 adorable fur babies: Abbie, the Whippet/Jack Russell Terrier (whole lotta crazy up in there), Bailey, the most beautiful Pug on the planet. His moms tell him he’s the perfect specimen, often. And our cat, Lilly Nelson, who’s really more of a teenager. She wants outside every night as soon as it’s dark, then comes in first thing in the morning to eat and sleep all day before going back out to party the night away once again.
